Al Thornton

Alvin G. Thornton is a native Arizonian who was born in Morenci on November 3rd. He worked as a truck driver and dental assistant in the United States Army. He is now retired after working for A.P.S. for 38 years as a groundman, lineman apprentice, lineman, subforeman, and electric troubleshooter. He has been married to Peggy for 45 years who is an integral part of both the healing and prayer groups. He has been a member of Logos for six years and has been a active attendee of the Search for God classes. Al has two children, Steven and Sherrie, and four grandchildren. In the past, Al has been involved in sky-diving, swimming, diving, riding wild horses, camping, fishing, hiking, and backpacking. Currently he enjoys Edgar Cayce and metaphysical studies and keeping fit.

Al is a driving force behind every Sunday Celebration Service, operating the audio-visual booth and producing the tapes and compact discs of each Sunday’s talk.
